N-BUTHANOL
Product Description: N-Butanol (n-Butyl alcohol), a four carbon straight chain oxo alcohol, is a medium-boiling liquid that is useful as a chemical intermediate and as a solvent for ambient dry and baking coatings. It is widely used as an etherification alcohol in the manufacture of amino resins that are used as curing agents in baking and physicaldrying finishes. N-Butanol is also a very effective latent solvent for cellulosic lacquers and ambientcured enamels, reducing formulation viscosity and providing excellent flow and leveling during film formation.
Applications: Agriculture intermediates, Architectural coatings, Auto oem, Auto plastics, Auto refinish, Building materials, Coil coatings, Construction chemicals, Furniture, General industrial coatings, Graphic arts, Industrial maintenance, Lubricants Marine Paints & coatings Process solvents, Protective coatings, Specialty chemicals, Wood coatings
ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL
Product Description: Isopropanol is a colorless, flammable liquid with a characteristic alcoholic odor. It is completely miscible with most solvents, including water, and is a suitable solvent for acrylic and epoxy resins, ethyl cellulose, natural resins, gums, polyvinyl butyral, alkaloids and some essential oils.
Applications: Nitrocellulose lacquers and thinners, Coupling agent in cleaners and polishes, Dehydrating agent, Extractant, Adhesives, Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics and toiletries, Disinfectants, Rubbing compounds, Lithographic printing, Chemical intermediate, De-icing, General purpose cleaners
ISO BUTHANOL
Product Description: A clear, colorless solution with a sweet musty odor.
Applications: Solvent (coatings/cleaners), Textiles ,De-icing fluids, Intermediate for glycol ethers, Flotation agents, Floor polishes, Extractant in production of drugs and antibiotics, hormones, vitamins, Additive in gasoline, Chemical intermediate (esters, Anti-corrosion and anti-wear inhibitors in engine oils, Agricultural chemicals intermediate
ETHYL HEXANOL
Description: A clear, high-boiling point and low volatility solvent with a characteristic odor. It is miscible with most organic solvents but has very limited miscibility with water.
Applications:
- Manufacture of low volatility esters (for example, dioctylphthalate)
- Low volatility solvent (for resins, animal fats, waxes, vegetable oils and petroleum derivatives)
- Coatings, ethoxylates, herbicides, extractant production (heavy metals)
