ZINC PHOSPHATE – Universal Lead-Free and Chromium-Free Inorganic Corrosion Inhibitor

Zinc Phosphate is a white, nonrefractive, corrosion inhibiting pigment used in protective coating systems. It is generically identified as zinc phosphate-dihydrate. Zinc Phosphate exhibits a narrow particle size distribution: upper particle size limit of 10 microns, mean particle size 5 microns. This pigment has a high degree of versatility. It is a standard corrosion inhibitor for most high performance resin systems such as vinyls, chlorinated rubbers and epoxies.

It is recommended for high acid value resins, catalyzed baking systems and vinylidene chloride latexes. Zinc Phosphate is also recommended for thin film applications (1 mil or 25 microns). Zinc Phosphate is compliant to ASTM D 6280-98 Specifi cation for Zinc Phosphate Pigment Type I.

Application: Recommended loading levels range from 5-15% based on total formula weight.

Product Description: Metallic pigments can be added to solvent‐based and UV‐curable screen printing ink. Metallic pigments are available as powders and pastes.

Application: Chemical reactions in metallic inks may result in viscosity, color and printability changes over time. Mix only enough metallic ink to be used the same day. When inks are to be printed over Metallic color, the overprinting ink(s) must be evaluated for intercoat adhesion over the Metallic color before proceeding with the production run. To maximize intercoat adhesion over Metallic colors, we recommend that the Metallic color be printed as late as possible in the print sequence.

ALUMINIUM PIGMENT POWDER

LUXAN CFX C842 SPOTLIGHT RED-LUXAN CFX is the specially encapsulated, weather and condensation water resistant version of the LUXAN pearlescent pigments based on borosilicate. These pigments captivate with their interesting depth effect and an impressive sparkle.

STANDART PCR 212 ALUMINUM POWDER– The aluminium pigments of the PCR series are inorganically encapsulated with silicon dioxide. On the one hand this silica coating provides excellent processing properties during powder coating application, on the other hand – due to the barrier effect of the SiO2-layer – it guarantees a certain protection against corrosive chemicals. The typical pigment level of PCR aluminium pigments varies between 0.5% and 5.0%. The basic product programme of PCR grades ranges from very coarse to very fine.

STANDART PCBF 5000-STANDART PCBF is a new generation of non-leafing aluminum pigments. PCBF stands for Powder Coating Bonding Free. The particles are encapsulated with silicon dioxide units in a special sol-gel process and a durable surface coating which consists of thermosetting resin molecules. This preparation contains less than 50% silica-encapsulated aluminum pigment and more than 50% carboxylated super durable polyester with an acid value of 25. This new pigment encapsulation concept (patent applied) creates unique metallic effects for powder coatings.
