LUBRICANTS / RUBBER PROCESS (EXTENDER) OILS
PRODUCTS
OCTOPUS A SERIES
Aromatic process oils are obtained through the extraction of aromatic hydrocarbons in the course of base oil production, which is carried out during the refining of crude oil. Generally, these oils are dark in colour, have high flash points, low aniline point and high aromatic carbon content.
These products are used especially for applications in which high solubility is required for a softening and plasticising effect. The main applications of this Series are as process oil in rubber production, resin, asphalt production, adhesive, paint and ink production and plastic production.
Non-labelled OCTOPUS A SERIES products are Treated Distillate Aromatic Extract (TDAE) type aromatic process oils that perform well at both low and high temperatures, facilitating the processing of rubber. They do not contain compounds which are harmful to the environment and human health. They are compatible with SBR, cis-polybutadiene and neoprene rubbers.
