BYK-333 – Silicone-containing surface additive for solvent-free, solvent-borne and aqueous coating systems, printing inks and adhesive systems as well as ambient-curing plastic systems. Strong reduction of surface tension.

Application: The additive provides a strong reduction of the surface tension of the coatings and printing inks. It therefore particularly improves substrate wetting and avoids cratering. Surface slip and gloss are also increased. In aqueous systems it improves the anti-blocking properties

BYK-019 – Silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous pigment concentrates for use in coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes. Prevents foam during grinding. Long-term and shear stability. Particularly suitable for resin-free grinds (slurries).

Application: BYK-019 is particularly suitable for aqueous coating systems based on polyurethane dispersions and polyurethane/acrylate combinations and for defoaming pigment concentrates.

BYK-016 – VOC-free, polymer-based defoamer for aqueous coatings, adhesives, printing inks and overprint varnishes, as well as the underwater pelletizing of thermoplastics.

Application: BYK-016 is a very effective mineral oil-free defoamer for aqueous printing inks, overprint varnishes and inkjet printing inks. It has no negative influence on the runnability and does not cause any defects in the print image.

BYK-1790 – Silicone-free, polymer-based defoamer for solvent-free, radiation-curing wood and industrial coatings, printing inks and adhesives. Suitable for pigmented and unpigmented coating systems.

Application: BYK-1790 is silicon-free and is recommended for solvent-free, radiation-curing (UV and ESH) coating systems (pigmented and unpigmented), printing inks and overprint varnishes. The high efficiency of the defoamer is not impacted by pigments, fillers, wax additives or matting agents.
